Rachel Black is our Event Coordinator, responsible for booking and executing all private events and public weekly tastings.
She was born in Atlanta & graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Retail and Hospitality Management. She has held various venue and event management roles at Paris on Ponce, MeetingAdvice, Atlanta Fine Homes Sotheby’s International Realty, Barcelona Wine Bar, VinoTeca and Bartaco before coming on board with Perrine in September 2021.
Rachel is truly passionate about all things wine, and she holds her Introductory Sommelier – Court of Master Sommeliers, America certification. She loves getting to know our customers on their various wine journeys. She has had the pleasure of learning more about wine, herself while simultaneously teaching our guests. While she feels that there’s nothing better than helping our guest celebrate special occasions and successful business events, above all, she LOVES making charcuterie and cheese boards and making it nice. While there are many highlights to her position, she also loves that she learned how to saber a bottle of wine this year.
Rachel’s favorite thing in the world is her Frenchie, Leo, that she co-parents with my sister who is also the CFO/COO at Perrine’s. She’s loves to share her passion of wine with my sister at work together!
Outside of work, you can find Rachel still eating cheese, winning fantasy football championships or crushing a jigsaw puzzle, preferably with a glass of Champagne.
