The palate is medium to full-bodied, with concentrated dark fruit, a velvety texture and notes of savory earth, black olive and espresso carried by firm mountain tannins.

Structured yet balanced, this Howell Mountain Cabernet is well suited to grilled or roasted beef, lamb, game and aged hard cheeses.

ABOUT THIS PRODUCER

Joe and Alice Heitz founded Heitz Cellar in Napa Valley in 1961, building a reputation for elegant, long-lived wines from distinctive vineyard sites.
