James Bard
Westside Assistant Store Manager
James Bard brings a dynamic blend of hospitality leadership and design expertise to PERRINE's WINE West Midtown location. With over a decade of experience managing top-tier restaurants and opening new concepts across Atlanta, James is known for cultivating team-driven cultures and creating thoughtful guest experiences rooted in both efficiency and warmth.
James’s fascination with hospitality began early, drawn to the energy of shared spaces and the sense of connection they create. That curiosity naturally extended into interior design, where he found joy in shaping environments that felt intentional, beautiful, and welcoming. Over time, these two passions—people and place—merged into a career focused on building spaces where both guests and teams thrive.
His path into wine began while working as a beverage manager, helping to open new restaurant locations. Developing wine programs and working closely with vendors opened up a new world of flavor, culture, and storytelling. What began as a functional part of the job quickly became a deeper passion—one that would shape the next chapter of his journey in hospitality.
James holds a BA in Sociology from Georgia College & State University, along with a certification in Interior Design from the New York Institute of Art and Design. These foundations have equipped him with a thoughtful, balanced approach to leadership—combining aesthetics with systems thinking, and creativity with structure.
Now at PERRINE's WINE Westside, James is excited to further explore the world of wine alongside a team and clientele who share his curiosity and appreciation. He enjoys a wide range of wines but is especially drawn to the charm of Lambrusco, the brightness of Txakoli, and the versatility of Riesling. Whether he’s setting the tone for service, curating an experience, or discovering a new bottle, he’s most fulfilled when helping people feel at home.
