Mark’s love affair with wine began years ago while living in Italy, where he was deeply inspired by the cultural connection between wine and place. That lasting impression eventually led him to a career change during the pandemic, after more than 20 years in the airline industry. Since then, he’s earned his WSET certification and continues to be a passionate student of wine—constantly reading, tasting, and exploring.

At PERRINE’s WINE in Sandy Springs, Mark especially enjoys leading our seated tastings, where he has a knack for turning guests on to lesser-known regions and producers. Sharing those hidden gems is one of the most rewarding parts of his role.

When he’s not in the shop, Mark enjoys traveling with his wife, Robin, and visiting their sons in Athens, Georgia.
