Sourced from López de Heredia’s emblematic Viña Tondonia vineyard in Rioja Alta, the 2005 Reserva is a blend of approximately 75% Tempranillo, 15% Garnacha, and small portions of Graciano and Mazuelo. The grapes are fermented with indigenous yeasts in ancient oak vats and aged for 6 years in seasoned American oak barrels, followed by several years in bottle prior to release—true to the estate’s steadfast philosophy.

The magnum format (1.5L) enhances the wine’s longevity and freshness, making it ideal for extended cellaring or celebratory gatherings. The 2005 vintage was warm and balanced, producing wines with both richness and aging potential.
