2014 Casa Piena Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley, California, USA
The 2014 Casa Piena Cabernet Sauvignon offers an inviting bouquet of ripe blackberries, cassis, and dark plum, complemented by notes of cedar, graphite, and a touch of leather. On the palate, it’s full-bodied yet remarkably balanced, with layers of concentrated dark fruit flavors, fine-grained tannins, and a touch of tobacco and baking spice. The finish is long and polished, with a hint of mocha that lingers beautifully.

About This Wine
The grapes for the 2014 Casa Piena Cabernet Sauvignon were hand-harvested from select vineyard blocks in Napa Valley, known for producing some of the region’s finest Cabernet Sauvignon. After fermentation, the wine was aged for 22 months in French oak barrels (70% new), which added complexity and structure. The wine was bottled unfiltered, allowing it to retain its rich flavors and depth of character.
