ABOUT THE WINE
Château Lagrange is a Third Growth of the St.-Julien appellation, situated on well-drained gravel soils that are particularly well suited to Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2014 blend is led by Cabernet Sauvignon, supported by Merlot and Petit Verdot, creating a wine that combines cassis-driven fruit with classic Médoc structure. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats, followed by maturation in French oak barrels, allowing the wine to develop complexity while maintaining freshness. After more than a decade of bottle age, the 2014 vintage is entering a beautiful stage of maturity, with its fruit, tannins, and tertiary notes coming together harmoniously.
