This vintage marks the 50th for this estate whose current owners are direct descent of the founding fathers of the Consortium with the Biondi Santis. Francesco Ripaccioli is the young face of the company which splits its 15 hectares of vineyards between Montosoli and Canalicchio di Sopra, in the northern sector of the appellation. Every vintage of this Brunello is an assemblage of the Montosoli and Canalicchio di Sopra Crus in differ ratios, according to the vintage. Francesco likes to define the style of his wine as classic, departing from the traditional vs modernist arena.
