ABOUT THIS WINE
Sourced from the iconic Sanford & Benedict Vineyard in the heart of the Sta. Rita Hills, this Pinot Noir was hand-harvested and fermented using native yeasts in small open-top fermenters. After fermentation, it was aged in French oak barrels (about 30% of which were new) for 11 months, allowing the wine to develop its complex flavors while maintaining balance. The result is a wine that embodies the elegance and terroir of this renowned vineyard site.
