2016 Bardos ‘Romantica’ Tempranillo Ribera del Duero

Tempranillos from Ribera del Duero tend to have darker fruit undertones. The Bardos Tempranillo has flavors of black cherry, plums and blackberries with notes of tobacco and vanilla. Bold and dry with soft tannins. Pair with beef, lamb or wild game.


Vineyard: Old low-yield vineyards, located in Quintanilla de Onésimo, with a great mesoclimates and soils conditions.

Harvest: Manual harvest of selected grapes during the end of September and the beginning of October.

Winemaking: Fermentation and maceration during 3 to 4 weeks in 15,000 kg vats at 28ºC. Malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels.
