Crafted exclusively from Semillon grapes harvested on January 30 and February 2, 2016, the wine was bottled on June 28, 2016, with an alcohol content of 11.0%, pH of 3.10, and total acidity of 7.02 g/L. The winemaking process involved pressing the grapes before a relatively cool fermentation, followed by minimal time on yeast lees before early bottling to maintain freshness. Notably, there was no oak fermentation or maturation, allowing the pure expression of the Semillon grape.
