2017 Mas Martinet, Priorat Menut

Aromas of tobacco, black pepper and wild spices with toasted oak top the black cherry and blackberry fruit. On the palate, lush blueberry and blackberry fruit, along with iron and mineral notes.


From acclaimed winemaker Sara Perez, the Menut comes from vineyards heavy in schist, next to the Mas Martinet proprietary plots.

This wine has terrific concentration for the price, and the lively acidity, along with the minerality from the schisty soil, makes for a great value from the Priorat! Biodynamically farmed. 40% Grenache, 20% Carignan, 30% Syrah, 10% Merlot.
