This Riserva hails from the renowned vineyards of Podere Il Paradiso and Podere Colombini on the warm, clay-limestone slopes of Montalcino—planted to the aggressive Sangiovese Grosso clone. The 2018 vintage, marked by a warm, steady growing season with moderate summer rains, produced grapes with concentrated flavors and ripe tannins. After hand harvesting and meticulous green selection, fermentation occurred in stainless steel, followed by aging for at least 30 months in Slavonian oak casks. The result is a poised and age-worthy Brunello embodying the estate’s philosophy of marrying tradition and terroir.
