2018 Marc Hebrart "Rive Gauche Rive Droite" Grand Cru Brut, Champagne, France
A stunning expression of Grand Cru Champagne, this wine presents an intricate bouquet of ripe citrus, green apple, and hints of toasted hazelnuts. The palate is crisp and finely textured, with a lively mousse that balances the fresh acidity and depth of flavor. Layers of orchard fruit, brioche, and chalky minerality lead to a long, elegant finish that is both refreshing and complex.

ABOUT THIS WINE
This exceptional Champagne is a blend of 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay, sourced from the prestigious Grand Cru vineyards of Aÿ and Mesnil-sur-Oger. The wine undergoes fermentation with native yeasts, followed by a prolonged aging period on its lees for a minimum of 36 months to develop complexity and depth. The “Rive Gauche Rive Droite” is crafted with a low dosage to preserve the natural expression of the fruit, and it was disgorged in early 2022 to reveal its full potential.
