ABOUT THIS WINE

This 100% Negroamaro hails from the DOP Salice Salentino wine producing area. After harvest, the initial stage of fermentation was done with maceration in inox steel tanks at thermocontrolled temperature for 15 days. Then, the wine was refined in Barriques.

For over half century Cantine de Falco has been producing high quality wines, combining the traditional craftmanship of wine-making with the innovation of high-tech production methods. Their company is located in Novoli, which is located in the heart of Salento's wine producing area, just a few kilometers far from Lecce. Their vineyards are concentrated in the Salento among the provinces and municipalities of Lecce, Taranto and Brindisi.

Their deep knowledge for wine and winemaking was matured throughout years by the founder, Salvatore and the passion of his son, Gabriele. This passion has led to their wines being highly appreciate, both in Italy, and nationwide. Their goal is to protect all the best natural features given to the grapes by the land, climate and above all by the Salento sun. The family takes pride in knowing all characteristics of their varietals and estates. The family personally follows all production's stages from cultivation to bottling.
