2020 Domaine Cordier Pouilly-Fuissé, Burgundy, France
This is a wonderfully full style of Pouilly-Fuissé from one of the very best winemakers in the Mâcon. Expert fruity notes of tropical fruity and peach and the rich effects of a subtle use of toasty oak. Try it with a creamy dish, like stroganoff.
ABOUT THIS WINE
Sourced from several of Christophe’s parcels across the Fuisse AOP. Age of vines between 30 to 40 years old. Fermented exclusively in 500ltr barrels of which 20 to 30% are new.
