2020 Peñalolen Cabernet Sauvignon, Maipo Valley, Chile

Garnet-red in hue. The balsamic, redcurrant-inflected nose offers hints of cherry over a bed of cigar box. The liqueur-like palate is heated up by the alcohol from the warm year while the finely grained tannins and juicy feel make for a long lasting, fruity finish.
