Sourced from organically and biodynamically farmed sites across the Sta. Rita Hills AVA—including esteemed vineyards like La Encantada and Sanford & Benedict—the 2020 Cuvée captures the region’s cool-climate character and marine influence. The blend showcases whole-cluster fermentation and native yeasts, followed by aging in French oak barrels (a modest percentage new) for finesse rather than overt power. Aromatically vivid, it offers notes of pomegranate, wild strawberry, forest floor, and white pepper, with underlying tension and brightness.
