2021 Domaine Odoul-Coquard Bourgogne Côte d'Or Rouge, Burgundy, France
A graceful and finely-tuned Pinot Noir that captures the finesse of Burgundy’s Côte d'Or. Bright red cherry and wild raspberry lead the aromatic profile, layered with subtle earthy undertones and a hint of spice. On the palate, it’s light-bodied and silky, with soft tannins and a fresh thread of acidity that carries through a clean, elegant finish.

ABOUT THIS WINE
This wine draws from two prime vineyard plots—'Les Fourneaux' near Gevrey-Chambertin and 'Poisot' in Morey-Saint-Denis—where old vines aged between 50 and 60 years lend concentration and character. Crafted with attentive detail, the 2021 vintage aged for 12 months on the lees in French oak barrels, up to half of which were new. This elevates its texture and aromatic complexity without overshadowing the pure fruit. The wine showcases a restrained yet expressive style, with notes of red berries, forest floor, and gentle spice. Its delicate acidity and fine tannins make it versatile for pairing with charcuterie, roast poultry, or grilled salmon.
