ABOUT THIS WINE

This Grand Cru is crafted from two parcels of 60- to 70-year-old Pinot Noir vines, situated at elevations between 260 and 280 meters with east-facing exposures. The sandy soils, interspersed with chalky rocks, contribute to the wine's refined minerality. The 2021 vintage underwent 15 months of maturation in French oak barrels, 60% of which were new, enhancing its complexity without overshadowing the fruit. The result is a wine of remarkable depth and elegance, suitable for pairing with dishes such as roast duck, veal, or mushroom-based cuisine.

Domaine Odoul-Coquard, a family estate based in Morey-Saint-Denis, has quietly built a reputation for producing detailed, site-expressive Burgundies from some of the Côte de Nuits' most coveted terroirs.
