ABOUT THIS WINE

An excellent Sauvignon Blanc from Quincy. The grapes are pressed very slowly and undergo cold stabilization. Aging on the lees give the wine a more rounded profile. Pairs well with seafood, white meats and goat cheeses.

ABOUT THIS PRODUCER

"Coming from a peasant family established in Brinay for 4 generations, I took over the family business in 1985. Six years later, I created my own wine estate on the Quincy Appellation.

I develop my vineyard relying on the qualities of the Quinçois terroir. Today, it is on more than 20Ha of vines that I shape three Quincy cuvées with marked identities. If my Domaine cuvée reflects the generosity of Quincy wines, my Quincyte and Jean-Maxime cuvées reveal all the finesse of Sauvignon on its favorite terroir.

After many opportunities in the past to develop myself in Reuilly, in 2013 I finally found the clay-limestone terroir that I was looking for. My goal is to clearly differentiate my wines.

So I plant vines on the Reuilly Appellation, first with Sauvignon blanc then Pinot noir: The Domaine des Victoires is then created.

I chose for the conduct of my vines as vinification to associate Tradition and Modernity. As at any time in history, each generation has made its contribution to know-how.

This is one of the reasons that led me to vinify in an old fully restored Berrichonne farm. In this place steeped in history, my primary concern is to produce high quality wines that best express the typicity of my Estate."
