Eyrie Vineyards' 2022 Pinot Meunier is a testament to the estate’s pioneering spirit and commitment to showcasing lesser-seen varietals in Oregon’s Willamette Valley. Sourced from their original estate plantings, this wine captures the grape’s pure expression with minimal intervention. The cool-climate influence enhances its crisp acidity and red fruit vibrancy, while the old vines contribute depth and complexity. Fermented with native yeasts and aged in neutral oak, this bottling preserves Meunier’s delicate aromatics and textural refinement.

Picked by hand, our Pinot Meunier is destemmed and put into a variety of fermenters, from small one-ton bins to a 5 ton wooden cuve, to undergo native primary fermentation.

Our barrels are mostly neutral—for this vintage, only 8% were new. Having undergone native malolactic fermentation, hand punched twice a day, the 2022 Pinot Meunier was blended after 22 months and then bottled and sealed under Diam cork.
