Solitaire hails from the Truchard Vineyard in Carneros, which is located in South Napa spanning a rare stretch of 500 acres purchased by Tony and Jo Ann Truchard nearly 50 years ago from a hermit who lived on the property in a trailer. This is a charming expanse of vineyard, planted with many head-trained and old vines, and an old world sensibility.
