ABOUT THE WINE
The 2021 “Zingaretti Estate” Chardonnay originates from the esteemed Zingaretti Estate in Villa Bastías, Tupungato, within Mendoza's Uco Valley. This vineyard, situated at an altitude of 1,150 meters above sea level, is characterized by heterogeneous, alluvial soils with good drainage, contributing to the wine's elegance and complexity. The Chardonnay grapes undergo fermentation in French oak foudres, followed by 10 months of aging in the same vessels, allowing for subtle oak integration and the development of a creamy texture. Aromas of orange peel, green tea, and white flowers lead into a palate that is delicate, focused, and balanced by good acidity. This Chardonnay pairs beautifully with dishes such as grilled seafood, roasted chicken, or creamy pasta, complementing its vibrant acidity and nuanced flavors.
