The 2022 Brown Estate Zinfandel from Napa Valley presents a dark ruby core with a crimson rim. The nose is characterized by floral notes of tea rose, blooming lilac, and English lavender, complemented by framboise. Secondary aromas include pine forest, beeswax, boysenberry syrup, toasted brioche, cinnamon, vanilla bean, cloves, and subtle saddle leather. On the palate, it is medium-bodied with a silky texture, vibrant acidity, and well-integrated medium tannins.

ABOUT THIS WINE

The 2022 Napa Valley Zinfandel is composed of 100% Zinfandel grapes sourced from Brown Estate and select Napa Valley vineyards, including Green & Red, Beatty Ranch, and Frediani. The wine underwent barrel aging for eight months in 30% new oak, with a 50/50 split between French and American oak. This vintage marks the 27th release of their flagship Napa Valley Zinfandel.
