Fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for 12+ months in predominantly used oak (typically no more than 20–25% new), the 2022 vintage captures the radiance of the growing season while maintaining freshness and poise. The result is a Meursault of refined generosity, with notes of ripe citrus, white peach, almond cream, and chalky depth. Domaine des Comtes Lafon, based in Meursault since 1869, is a benchmark estate in white Burgundy.
