Sourced from meticulously tended village-level parcels in Puligny-Montrachet, the 2022 vintage reflects the Lafon family's recent expansion into this appellation, bringing their Meursault-honed sensibilities to Puligny’s more linear and mineral-driven terroir. The fruit is farmed organically and harvested at optimal ripeness to retain natural acidity. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts in oak barrels, followed by aging in mostly used French oak to preserve purity and terroir transparency. The wine displays a restrained richness balanced by Puligny's signature energy—white peach, almond skin, flinty stone, and a whisper of oak spice.
