ABOUT THIS PRODUCER
It was in 1962 that Marthe Durand , helped by her son Raymond Durand , made their first harvests. Faced with the hard work involved in growing vines and wine, the Durand family was able to develop their 43 hectare farm. Jean-Marie Durand then joined forces with his father to consolidate their operation in 1985. The operation expanded in 1993, with the contribution of the vines of Béatrice Millérioux , his wife. It was in 2011 that their son Jean-Charles joined them on the family estate.
The vineyard consists of 33 hectares of vines in Sancerre and 10 hectares in the Menetou-Salon appellation. It is located in the town of Crézancy-en-Sancerre , at a place called "Les Epsailles" , 7 km from Sancerre. Domaine Durand passionately cultivates its vines using sustainable farming methods for better respect for the environment.
