From the Producer: "We acquired this beautiful parcel of about 1.5 hectares in 2016. Located at the foot of the Roche de Vergisson, on the north-facing hillside of a stunning valley, its soils of marl and clay are ideal for Chardonnay. The grapes achieve lovely ripeness despite this cooler terroir. A terroir for the future."


From the Producer: "Our estate La Soufrandière is located in Vinzelles, in the south of Burgundy in the Mâconnais, acquired by our paternal grandfather in 1947. We work 4 hectares of Pouilly-Vinzelles Climat 'Les Quarts', 0.55 hectares of Pouilly-Vinzelles Climat 'Les Longeays', and 1 hectares of Mâcon-Vinzelles 'Le Clos de Grand-Père'. 

All our vines aged 33 to 80 years and over are magnificently located, East, South-East, in the middle and at the top of the hillside, made of very red clay and limestone known as “entroques”, dating back more than 180 million years. 'years.

Since the 2016 campaign, we have been fortunate to be able to farm around 5 additional hectares, already certified organic.
