ABOUT THE WINE
The 2018 Reserva showcases the depth and complexity of old-vine Douro fruit while maintaining a sense of restraint and place. Aromas of ripe dark berries, blackcurrant, violet, cedar, and baking spice are complemented by subtle earthy and mineral nuances. On the palate, concentrated flavors of blackberry, plum, dark chocolate, and spice are framed by polished tannins and lively acidity, creating a wine that is both approachable and capable of further aging.
Produced from traditional Douro grape varieties—including Touriga Nacional, Touriga Franca, and Tinta Roriz, among others from historic vineyard parcels—the wine reflects the diversity of the estate’s old-vine field blends.
