ABOUT THE WINE

This dry Gelber Muskateller expresses the fragrant, expressive side of the varietal with remarkable restraint and balance. Grown on terraced vineyards along the Danube in the Wachau’s sunlit slopes, the grapes benefit from the region’s unique microclimate and primary rock soils that lend clarity and freshness. The 2022 vintage showcases white peach, citrus zest, and exotic floral tones, underpinned by linear acidity and a faint stony edge that reinforces its Wachau origin.

As a Federspiel, it is harvested at moderate ripeness (11.5–12.5% ABV), emphasizing finesse over power. Vinified in stainless steel to preserve purity and aromatic intensity, this wine speaks to Knoll’s philosophy of precision and tradition.
