ABOUT THE WINE

This Bourgogne Blanc is a Chardonnay within Athénaïs de Béru’s small négociant range, made from fruit sourced in the Yonne. Her work with neighboring growers allows the range to explore northern Burgundy’s vineyards alongside the family domaine’s Chablis.

The 2023 shows citrus, yellow plum and apple with chalky, mineral and saline accents. A medium-bodied palate and lively acidity keep the fruit focused, while the low-intervention approach preserves an individual character rather than a standardized white Burgundy profile. Seafood, roast chicken or a vegetable dish with a bright citrus dressing would make thoughtful partners.
