ABOUT THIS WINE

“I’Mauri” is made from 100% Friulano grown on the gravelly alluvial soils of the Isonzo plain, where warm days and cool Adriatic breezes help preserve aromatics and natural acidity. The 2023 vintage offered excellent ripening conditions, producing wines with clarity, balance, and expressive fruit.

The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel to maintain varietal purity, followed by several months of aging on the lees to build texture and complexity. The result is a wine that combines orchard fruit, citrus peel, and subtle herbal notes with a signature hint of bitter almond on the finish—a hallmark of Friulano.
