Crafted from 100% Viognier grown on the steep granite terraces of Condrieu, “Terrasses de l’Empire” reflects the historic terroirs that helped define the appellation. The vineyards are farmed organically and worked almost entirely by hand due to the dramatic slopes. Fermentation takes place in a combination of stainless steel and large oak vessels, preserving freshness while adding texture and complexity. The 2023 vintage balances the exotic floral and stone-fruit character typical of Condrieu with remarkable tension and freshness.
