ABOUT THE WINE
Famille Brunier’s 2023 Mégaphone comes from a hillside parcel on the southern slopes of the Dentelles de Montmirail in the Ventoux appellation. It blends 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah from vines averaging about 25 years old, rooted in rocky clay and sand. Hand-harvested fruit is sorted, fermented in concrete and aged for ten months in large foudres. Expect generous dark and red fruit alongside licorice, spice and garrigue, with a fresh, composed structure. Pair with grilled lamb, sausages or roasted vegetables. Alcohol: 14.5%.
ABOUT THE PRODUCER
Famille Brunier is the Rhône winegrowing family behind estates including Vieux Télégraphe and Les Pallières. Brothers Daniel and Frédéric Brunier continue the family’s multigenerational work, making Mégaphone to express the character of Ventoux’s hillside terroir.
