“Les Valozières” is situated directly beneath the Corton Bressandes Grand Cru, sharing its clay-limestone terroir and exposure, but offering a more accessible, early-drinking charm. The 2023 vintage provided ideal ripening conditions with a balance of sun and cool nights, yielding fruit of concentration and precision. The wine was fermented with a portion of whole clusters for aromatic lift and tension, then aged for 14 months in 30% new French oak to enhance depth while preserving purity.

This 1er Cru shows classic Aloxe-Corton character: robust red and black fruit framed by notes of sous bois, crushed rock, and spice. There's both muscle and finesse here, with a core of freshness that keeps it lively. A compelling companion to dishes like herb-crusted pork loin, duck with cherry gastrique, or mushroom polenta.
