The 2023 Paşaeli "House White" is a vibrant, mineral-driven white made from a blend of native and international varieties—primarily Sultaniye, along with Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay—sourced from the Aegean region of western Anatolia. The Sultaniye, a local Turkish grape known for its delicate floral and citrus notes, brings freshness and lift, while the Sauvignon Blanc contributes herbal nuance and the Chardonnay adds mid-palate weight and subtle texture.

The vineyards are sustainably farmed, with minimal intervention and a deep respect for local terroir. The grapes are harvested in the early morning hours to preserve acidity and are fermented in stainless steel to highlight purity of fruit and varietal expression. Paşaeli was founded in 2000 by Seyit Karagözoglu, a passionate wine lover and importer who sought to showcase Turkey’s ancient grape varieties and exceptional terroirs. Located in Izmir near the Aegean coast, Paşaeli focuses on indigenous Turkish grapes like Sultaniye, Yapıncak, and Karasakız, along with well-known international varieties, always farmed with respect for the land and crafted with minimal manipulation.

The winery follows a low-intervention philosophy, seeking to create honest, expressive wines that reflect both tradition and innovation.
