ABOUT THIS WINE
Stargazing is crafted from select Pinot Noir parcels planted on the western edge of the Sonoma Coast, where fog, wind, and rocky soils contribute to a wine of precision and energy. The 2023 vintage was cool and steady, yielding grapes with vibrant natural acidity and beautifully layered aromatics. Grapes are hand-harvested and fermented with native yeasts, followed by aging in French oak barrels—mostly used—to preserve fruit purity and site expression.
The wine reveals lifted aromas of red berries, rhubarb, crushed herbs, and subtle spice. The palate is lithe and elegant, with savory undertones and a mineral-driven core that reflects its coastal terroir. Balanced and seamless, it’s a Pinot Noir that rewards both early drinking and short-term cellaring.
