ABOUT THIS WINE

100% Sangiovese Grosso (from vines aged 7–15 years) from three distinct slopes and soil types: 40% Vigna del Lago, 30% Poggio al Granchio, and 30% Vigna Spuntali. The wine underwent a 3-day pre-fermentative maceration, followed by a 12-day alcoholic fermentation using selected yeasts, following selection via an optical sorter. Aged for 6 months in 50-hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels, followed by an additional 3 months of bottle aging.
