ABOUT THIS WINE

The grapes come from vines on the terraced slopes around Dürnstein in Austria’s Wachau Valley, where soils of primary rock, gravel, and sand meet steep gradients by the Danube. The estate farms sustainably—eschewing herbicides and chemical fertilizers. Harvest is carried out manually in multiple passes to ensure only optimally ripe, healthy fruit is selected, preserving aromatic purity and freshness.

Upon arrival at the cellar, grapes are destemmed and gently pressed, followed by spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The wine rests on the fine lees for around four to six months, adding texture and complexity without sacrificing brightness. Bottling is done with minimal intervention under screwcap, ensuring freshness and precision.
