Sourced from organically farmed vineyards influenced by cooling Pacific breezes, the wine benefits from long growing seasons that preserve acidity while allowing full flavor development.

Typically composed of Mediterranean varieties suited to the region’s warm days and cool nights, the blend is fermented with native yeasts, often in neutral vessels such as concrete or stainless steel to maintain purity and texture. Minimal intervention in the cellar—limited additions and restrained handling—allows the wine’s site-driven character to shine.

The 2024 vintage highlights bright citrus, orchard fruit, and subtle herbal undertones, balanced by a supple mouthfeel and refreshing structure. Exceptionally versatile, “Sundrop” pairs beautifully with grilled vegetables, fresh seafood, herbed chicken, or Mediterranean-inspired dishes featuring olive oil, lemon, and herbs.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER

Âmevive Wine is a Santa Barbara–based winery focused on regenerative farming and minimal-intervention winemaking. Drawing inspiration from the traditional wines of southern France and the Mediterranean, the estate works closely with organically and biodynamically farmed vineyards throughout the county.

The philosophy centers on transparency—both in farming and in the cellar. Grapes are harvested by hand, fermented with native yeasts, and handled gently to preserve vitality and energy.
