2024 Cass "Mr Blanc", Paso Robes, California, USA

Bright, textured, and refreshingly unconventional, the 2024 “Mr. Blanc” from Cass Winery puts a New World spin on Rhône white varieties. Aromas of white peach, honeysuckle, and Meyer lemon lead into a juicy, rounded palate marked by tropical fruit, citrus peel, and a stony mineral lift. Crisp acidity and a subtle herbal edge bring balance to the wine’s generous mouthfeel, finishing clean with a whisper of almond and sea salt.

ABOUT THE WINE
“Mr. Blanc” is a distinctive blend of estate-grown Rhône white grapes—primarily Roussanne, Marsanne, and Viognier—from Cass’s certified organic vineyards in the Geneseo District of Paso Robles. The 2024 vintage benefited from a long, even growing season, preserving freshness and aromatic intensity. Each variety was hand-harvested, fermented separately in stainless steel to preserve purity, and partially aged on lees for added texture and mouthfeel. The Viognier contributes floral lift and stone fruit, Roussanne brings structure and spice, and Marsanne adds minerality and depth. The result is a layered, expressive white wine with both body and brightness. Pair it with roast chicken, grilled peaches with burrata, or seafood paella. Enjoy now or over the next 3–5 years.
