ABOUT THE WINE

The 2024 Costalina brings together Pinot Noir from vineyards across the West Sonoma Coast. The fruit is hand harvested from practicing-organic sites, with an average of approximately 20% whole clusters used in fermentation. The wine spends 16 months on its lees in neutral oak and undergoes full malolactic conversion. This approach keeps the emphasis on coastal fruit while allowing the wine to develop texture without overt new-oak flavors.

Its bright red-fruit character and fresh structure make it an inviting choice for the table. Try it with roast chicken, salmon, or a mushroom tart, and enjoy it while young.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER

Founded in 2005 by John Raytek, Ceritas is based in Healdsburg, California, and focuses on distinctive coastal vineyards. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon form the heart of its work, with sites spanning the West Sonoma Coast and Santa Cruz Mountains.

Close relationships with growers shape the winery’s approach. Ceritas works alongside its partners using organic and sustainable farming methods, adapting to each vineyard and growing season. Rather than imposing a uniform house style, the team seeks wines that express the geology, climate, and character of their individual sites.
