2024 Envínate "Palo Blanco", Canary Islands, Spain
The 2024 Envínate "Palo Blanco" is a strikingly mineral and expressive white wine, offering aromas of lemon zest, green apple, white peach, and citrus blossom layered with notes of smoky flint, sea spray, and volcanic stone. The palate is energetic and textured, with bright acidity, remarkable tension, and a long, saline finish that lingers with precision and complexity.

ABOUT THIS WINE
"Palo Blanco" is crafted from old-vine Listán Blanco (Palomino) grown in the high-altitude vineyards of Tenerife’s Valle de La Orotava. Many of the vines are trained using the traditional cordón trenzado system and are planted on volcanic soils that contribute the wine’s distinctive mineral character. Fermented with native yeasts and aged in a combination of concrete and large neutral oak vessels, the wine is made with minimal intervention to preserve purity and site expression. The 2024 vintage showcases the freshness, texture, and volcanic energy that have made "Palo Blanco" one of Spain’s most sought-after white wines.
