ABOUT THIS WINE

"Taganan" Blanco is sourced from a collection of old-vine parcels in the remote village of Taganana on Tenerife’s rugged northeastern coast. Planted on steep volcanic slopes overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, the vineyards contain a field blend of indigenous varieties, including Listán Blanco, Marmajuelo, Gual, and other native grapes, many growing on their original rootstocks. Fermented with native yeasts and aged in a combination of concrete and neutral oak vessels, the wine is crafted with minimal intervention to preserve the purity and individuality of these historic sites. The 2024 vintage beautifully captures the tension, salinity, and volcanic character that have made this wine one of Spain’s most distinctive white bottlings.
