ABOUT THE WINE

The 2024 Concerto is a dry, gently sparkling red Lambrusco Reggiano DOC made from 100% Lambrusco Salamino grown at Tenuta La Rampata in Reggio Emilia. A single-vineyard, single-vintage and single-variety cru, it is fermented in stainless steel using the Charmat method. The wine is certified organic.

Bright ruby in color, Concerto offers fresh red-berry and cassis aromas with lively, fine bubbles. The palate is dry, fresh and energetic, with crisp acidity and a savory finish. At 11.5% ABV, serve well chilled at about 8°C. Its freshness and lively sparkle make it a natural partner for salumi, mortadella, lasagna, grilled sausages and Parmigiano-Reggiano.

ABOUT THE PRODUCER

Medici Ermete is a family-owned winery in Reggio Emilia, founded in 1890 by Remigio Medici. The family has continued to focus on Lambrusco through five generations, and its vineyards are farmed organically. Concerto was first produced in 1993 as a cru of Lambrusco Salamino, reflecting the family’s commitment to lower yields, careful grape selection and a more expressive style of Lambrusco.
