ABOUT THIS WINE

This Albariño comes from small vineyard parcels in the Val do Salnés subregion of Rías Baixas, the historic heartland of the grape. The vineyards are planted on granitic sandy soils and lie close to the Atlantic Ocean, where cooling maritime breezes and frequent rainfall shape the wine’s hallmark freshness and salinity.

Nanclares y Prieto farms their vineyards organically, with a strong commitment to sustainable and traditional practices. The grapes are harvested by hand and fermented with native yeasts to preserve the natural character of the fruit and site. Fermentation and aging typically occur in stainless steel tanks, often with time spent on the lees to add subtle texture while maintaining the wine’s vibrant acidity and purity.
