ABOUT THE WINE

Redolent’s 2024 Sister From Another Mister is a distinctive Pacific Northwest red blend of Sangiovese and Syrah. The Syrah grows on steep mountain slopes near Mount Hood, while the Sangiovese comes from sites along the Columbia River. The combination brings the darker fruit and breadth of Syrah together with Sangiovese’s savory lift. Expect red and black cherry, blackberry, currant, rosemary, sage, cracked pepper and olive notes, supported by lively acidity, firm structure and earthy herbal detail. A natural match for grilled meats, braised dishes, mushroom risotto and aged cheeses.

Grapes: Sangiovese and Syrah   Region: Pacific Northwest, Columbia River Gorge
