ABOUT THIS WINE:

The vineyards span the Willamette’s sub-AVAs, enabling Avaraen to create a wine that is a true representation of the Valley as a whole – playing off each site’s specific personality and complementary nature to create a harmonious blend.

Winemaking: Fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel and neutral foudre followed by 10 months aging in Remond, Damy, Cavin, and Stockinger barrels.

Winemaker Adam Smith has made wine at Shea Cellars, Domaine Serene, and has made all three vintages of the highly sought-after new project from Meo-Camuzet. Adam is a superstar winemaker who knows every grower in the Valley. Fruit is sourced from top sought after sites at a cost significantly lower than Sonoma Coast giving you wine that way over-delivers on quality while keeping the price reasonable.
