Created for wine lovers who want to enjoy a bottle over several days, the Gard’Vin On/Off uses a manual pumping action to extract air from an opened bottle. Reducing the amount of oxygen inside slows the oxidation process, helping preserve the wine’s aromatic character and overall balance until the next tasting. It is intended for still wines and is not suitable for sparkling wines.
The system’s defining feature is its specially designed On/Off stopper. A colored indicator on the top of the stopper shows whether air remains inside the bottle; once the indicator is no longer visible, the vacuum has been achieved and the bottle is sealed. This provides an immediate visual confirmation without electronics or complicated controls.
The Gard’Vin On/Off includes the manual vacuum pump and two On/Off stoppers, allowing more than one bottle to be preserved. Compact and easy to store, it is particularly useful for everyday drinking, comparative tastings, or occasions when a special bottle deserves to be enjoyed gradually rather than finished at once.
